What are Yin and Yang Qi Energy?

Qi is a Chinese term that refers to the powerful healing life force or energy believed by ancient Chinese scholars to exist within everything in the Universe. The harmonious tuning and balancing of qi energy flow is at the core of all Chinese medicine practices.

An imbalance in your qi energy can occur when it moves to either Yin or Yang extremes. Yin and yang are complementary but opposite 'qualities' or 'characteristics' of a single energy source, which together form Wu Wei - the balanced qi energy state for optimal health.
